The story of Stone & Wood began in 2008 when three friends – Brad, Ross and Jamie – decided, after many years in the brewing industry and with a passion for good beer, they wanted to start their own thing.
Inspired by the idea of the ‘village brewery’ – that is, a brewery that brews quality beer while giving back to the wider community – Brad, Ross and Jamie founded Stone & Wood in a modest shed in Byron Bay’s industrial estate and began following their vision of creating a conscious local business.
GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY, WORKING WITH PURPOSE AND THE LOVE OF BEER IS WHAT GETS US OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING. FOR US, THAT IS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE.
Brookie’s Rainforest & Gin Tasting Tour
Our Cellar Door is located in the heart of our family farm, just 15 minutes from the centre of Byron Bay.

CIRCUS ARTS BYRON BAY IS OUR HEAD QUARTERS
A massive 1200 sqm indoor training space. We have the famous 10m high flying trapeze and a range of professional equipment including a 10m long tumble track, an olympic size trampoline with tramp wall, static trapezes, silks, lyras, and more.
Suitable for beginners through to professional performers, we have a range of circus classes for all ages – toddlers, kids, teens and adults – with the opportunity to progress and develop skills. School holiday programs for kids run every NSW and QLD school holidays.
We also have the only indoor climbing wall in Byron with both manual and automatic belay systems available, kids play space and the Cafe open 10am-7pm.
